1. He, who invite (someone) towards Allah, do good /sincere
work, and says, ˜I am an servant /orderly. Whose word is better than him?-
(Sura- Ha Mim Sijda 33)

Dawat. Anybody who do good work I enhance his religious merit. (Sura -Shura 23
)
3. ( Hallo Prophet ) Invite the peoples towards your own
protector (Allah) with enlightening excellent words/sentences. (Al Quran )
4. Invite (People)
towards the path of Protector (Allah) explaining nicely with enlightening words
and giving advise. And debate with them in suitable way. (Sura Nahal 125)
Hazrat Adam (Alaihessalam) is the first human being and
first Prophet who invited men towards he creator. Prophet Hazrat Mohammad
(peace be upon him) is the last Prophet. Almighty himself send blessings to
Prophet Mohammad (sm) as mentioned in Quran. Almighty declares in Quran: - Innallaha Wa
Malaikatihi Yusalluna Alannabi, Ya Ayuhallajina Amanu Sallu Alaihi Wa Sallimu Taslima.
Alhamdulillah. All praise for Almighty Allah who is the creator of this
Universe, who is controlling this universe, who is most powerful, by the order
of whom the stars and planets of the universe are moving and day & night
occurs and their duration varies, who has sent Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon
him) in this world as our guide.
We express our blessings for our Prophet through Durud-Allahumma
Salliala Sayedena Mohammadew Wasilati Elaika Walihi Wasallimâ. Allah Rabbul
Alamin has mentioned about Prophet Mohammad in so many places of ˜Quranâ. Some
of those are mentioned below:
4. ABOUT THE CREATION OF UNIVERSE & THE PROPHET MOHAMMAD
(sm):
1. Prophet Mohammad (sm) has said:
A. Awalu Ma
Khalakallahu Noori. - Allah has created my Noor at first.
b. Kuntu
Nabian Wa Adama Bainal Maye Wattin.- When Adam (Alaihessalam) is in Water and Mud (i.e. When Adam
was not Created) at that time I am prophet. 2. Lakad Khalaknal Insana Fi Ahsani
Takvimâ- I have created human being in beautiful shape. ( Sura Teen- 4)
3. Then Allah created
Adam from soil as his own representative in proper shape and insert the Ruhh
into it. Hazrat Adam got the life. Allah Subhanahu taala ordered the angels (Feresta)
to bow down their heads (to do sijda) accepting the superiority of Adam. Except
Iblish everybody carried out the order of Allah. Iblish expressed self-conceit,
disobeyed the order of Allah and was included in the Kafirs. (Bakara-34)
4. After that Allah created Haowa and placed them in Jannat
(Heaven) to live in and told them , You can eat and drink anything but never go
to that tree ( Gandham tree). Otherwise you will be treated as outrageous. But
due to the provocation of Iblish they disobeyed the order of Allah and were
thrown out from Heaven . This Earth became their living place. Adam (a) beg
mercy to Allah for his fault saying, Rabbana Zalamna Aanfusana
Waillamtagfirlana Watarhamna Lanakunanna Minal Khasirin- Oh our Allah! We have
oppressed on our own .So if you do not excuse us, do not be kind to us, we will
be harmed. Allah forgives them and guided them. (Bakara-35-39, Araf- 19-25, Twa
Ha-115-123)
5. Mohammadur
Rasulullah- Mahammad (sm) is the Prophet/ Rasul of Allah. ( Sura Fatah- 29)
6. Wama Arsalnaka
Ella Rahmatullil Alamin- I have sent you as the benignancy (Rahmat) to this
world. (Sura Ambia- 107)
7. He has sent his
prophet ( Mohammad) with proper guidance and true religion for awarding superiority
over all religion, although the nonbelievers dislike that.(Sura Saffa-9)
8. I have sent you
(Mohammad) to all the human being as the best messenger and warner , although
most of the men do not know that. (Saba-28)
9. I (Allah) have enlightened him {Mohammad (sm)} with
storehouse of kindness and knowledge on my behalf. ( Quran)
10. I have sent you as Prophet to the whole mankind and for
this witness of Allah is good enough. A man who followed the prophet as if he
followed Allah. ( Nisa- 80 )
11. Allah has created
the Earth as your living place, Sky as roof and he has given you clean Rijik.
He ( Allah ) is your foster/ protector/ guardian . ( Mumin-64 )
12. Lakad Khalaknal
Insana Fee Ahsani Takvim- I (Allah) have created the human in the most
beautiful shape. (Teen- 4)
13. I (Allah) have
created many Zeen and Man for the Hell. They have heart (Kalb) but they do not
feel with that, they have eyes but they do not see with those, they have ears
but they do not listen with those. Those are like animal rather worst than
that. They are disinterested/ negligent and indifferent/ apathetic. (Araf-179)
14. Mohammad is not the father of any of your men , but he
is the Apostle of Allah and the seal of Prophets. (Al- Ajhab-40)
15. And we have not sent you but as mercy to the universe.
(Al- Anabiya- 107) Prophet Mohammad(sm) has said “Maan Arafa Nafsahu Fakad
Arafa Rabbahu- A man who has got the identity of his own soul, he has been able
to know about Almighty Allah. In other words - If you want to know about Allah Rabbul Alamin you are to know
yourself.
Now the Question arises, how can I know myself and Almighty Allah? For that we are to find
out the following questions:
a. Who am I? From
where I have come to this world?
b. What I am? What is
my duty in this world?
c. What is Islam? What
is Iman(Faith) ? What is Amal?
d. Who is Mumin? How
a man can be Mumin
e. What is Hedayet? How
can I get Hedayet?
f. What is Shariat -
Tarikat- Marifat & Hakikat?
g. What are the Rules of Islam (Rules of
Shariat)?
h. What is the main
basis of Islam?
i. What is the best way to get Almighty Allah
Subhanahu Taala.
j. What are the guidelines given by Prophet
Mohammad (sm) to lead our life ?
k. How can we become
Allah Wala ( Woli Allah)?
NB: If we can find out the answer of
these question Insha Allah we will be able to find out the means to know about
myself and the means to know about Allah and thereby to get the means to become
closer to Almighty Allah.

*SECOND
PART
ELMEY
MARIFAT (HIDDEN KNOWLEDGE) *
If we analyze the information of the first
part of this book we can see that Allah Rabbul Alamin is One & Only,
supreme, He has no partner, He is the creator, protector, saver of skies and
earth . He has created the Noor -e- Mohammadi from his own Holly Noor
(Splendor) and created the whole creation with that Noor -e- Mohammadi. Created
the man as the Ashraful Maklukat (Best creature of the world). Directed the man
to put faith on : Allah (including his all power and virtues), Ferestas
(Angels) of Allah, Prophets & Rasuls sent by Allah, Heavenly / Divine
Books, Takdir( Fate/Luck), Kiamat(Day of Complete Destruction of the Universe),
Punarunthan( Resurrection), Day of Last Judgement. To establish this belief
firmly in mind is the main subject matter of Islam. Allah Rabbul Alamin has
nominated Islam as the religion for the whole mankind and descended Quran as
the Rules Regulation of Islam. Allah has
declared the superiority of the religion Islam over all other religions.
1. Allah is Lord of the Universe,
He is most powerful, most learned, ever-living, everlasting, most intelligent.
His presence is everywhere in the universe, He sees and listen everything, He
is the supreme of the universe. When He decides to create something , He just
utter ˜KOON( be created) and that is created . ( Bakara-117).
2. There is no one to be
worshipped except Allah. He is very kind, very merciful, subsistence giver,
free from want, and He is glorified. Power and virtues of Allah is beyond
imagination/discussion of human.(Lukmaan27).
3. Ferestas (Malaika/Angels) are
His obedient ( Fatir 11). Number of Feresta(Malaika/Angels) is unlimited and
number is known to Allah only. Amongst the main Ferestas Zibrail(A) Mikail(A),
Azrail(A) and Israfil (A) are remarkable.
4. Allah has created man from the
soil and they will be buried in this soil .Again they will be reawaken/
resurrected from this soil. Jinn (supernatural being) and Insan (human) have
been created only for Ibadat (prayer ).
5. Whenever mankind has forgotten
Allah and guided in a wrong direction , then Allah has sent Prophets and Rasuls
to them. For the mankind of the last era
Allah sent Prophet Mohammad (sm) Ibney ( son of) Abdullah Ibney Abdul Mottalib
Ibney Hashem Ibney Munnaf. Prophet Mohammad (sm) is the Last prophet and is the
blessings to the universe. He is the leader of all Prophets / Nobis / Rasuls.
He is the best and highest learned man of the whole mankind. He is established
on correct path and guide of correct path. He who follow Mohammad (sm) as if he
has followed Allah.
6. Allah has descended ˜Al Quran
on prophet Mohammad (sm) as the guidelines/ regulation for the whole mankind
for leading life (from birth to death). It is the duty of everyone to put
complete faith on the regulation given in Quran about leading life and lead the
life accordingly.
7. After brining faith ,it is the
duty of everyone to practice religion. Faith and practice are co-related.
Leaving one, another is valueless. Kalema ( Belief) is the key to heaven and
practice of religion is the teeth of the key . ( Al Hadis)
8. For Imanders (Believers) Praying regularly
and leading life as per rules & regulation of Shariat ( Islam) is
mandatory. Praying to Allah in the decided (by Allah) way, To express
humbleness to Allah, To follow the orders of Allah and to be obedient to Allah
is named as Ibadat. In rules & regulation of Islami Shariat main duty is
to: offer Salat (prayer) regularly, perform Fasting, give Jakat (sacrifice
wealth to poors as per regulation), perform Hajj -e- Baitullah (Kaba). Besides
this Obedience and dutifulness to parents, donate/sacrifice wealth, mutual
transaction, perform social duties etc. Everybody should know the rules and
regulation of Islam. As such they should earn knowledge about Islam, which has
been made Farj (compulsory). Allah Rabbul Alamin has mentioned clearly in Quran
in this regard. Somewhere it is mentioned. It is instance for the Mumins (
Believers) . Somewhere it is mentioned,
Only the intellectual peoples accept the advice. Somewhere it is
mentioned, In it (Quran) there is advice
for the people having power of understanding. Somewhere it is mentioned, In it (Quran) definitely there is example for
the wise society.
.
*ELM ( KNOWLEDGE) *
All the Elm (Knowledge) has been
classified in four category:
a. Elm-e- Shariat (Rules and
Regulation of Islam.
b. Elm -e Marifat
c. Hidden Elm- (Elm-e-Baten and
Tarikat )
d. Totally hidden Elm ( Hakikat)
Quran is the totality of all these
Elm. Hazrat Mohammad (sm) has said, Shariat is like a tree, whose branches are
Tarikat, Marifat is it’s leafs and Hakikat is its fruit. - ( Al Hadis )
We have discussed the important
aspects of Islam in the forgoing chapters. The last item is Acquiring Spiritual Character. Insha Allah we
will try to learn that in the next chapter.
CHAPTER III *AKHLAKEY BATENI ( SPRIRITUAL CHARACTER) *
The main key to acquire ˜Spiritual
Character” is to be free from the hidden or internal qualities of Sinfulness /
Bad Habits / Tendency to evil act. . Internal bad qualities influence man to be
involved in sin. These bad qualities are:
a. Pride b. Self-conceit c.
Misery d. Cheat e. Jealousy b. Anger g. Suppression/ Oppression h. Desire
for enjoyment /oppression, i. Desire
to gain wealth and fame.
2. For the emancipation on the day
of Judgment the following ten (10) good qualities are essentially required to
be acquired by everyone.
a. Be ashamed of Sinful work (Tawba ) b.
Have patience in sufferings/ misfortune
(Sabar) c. Remain pleased with the wish /order of Allah ( Reja) d. Be grateful to the blessings of Allah
(Shukur) e. Be afraid of Allah ( Khauf) f. Remain
hopeful for the blessings of Allah (Rwaja)
g. Practice austerities and
self-restraint (Johod) h. Perform prayer to Allah sincerely and
wholeheartedly (Ekhlas) i. Well behave with all the creature of Allah
(Good Behave) j. Have Love & Respect for Allah (Hobbey
Fillah)
3. The qualities of the great
people has been mentioned in Sura Bakara -Ayat 177.
To acquire Spiritual Character a
man must have the qualities mentioned above.
*IRADAT
/ MURID AND
MURAD *
*IRADAT: * It is the quality
to leave those works which has become a habit. In broad term, to keep the heart
(kalb) firmly to the remembrance of Allah and leave all habits and works which
are not related to the remembrance of Allah. So unless a man can not leave
those work and habits fully, which have been created due to delusion of mind
(preventing the discement of truth and leading to believe in the reality of
worldly objects) and ardent desire, he cannot be a man of perfect Iradat. Those
who wants to become closer to Allah, want to become Woli Allah, their first
duty (first step) is to earn Iradat. Almighty Allah has mentioned, : Ala
Tatrudillajina Yadwuna Rabbahum Bil Gadatey Wal Ashiyi Yuriduna Wajhahu- Those
who call (remember) their Lord ( Allah) and hope to get him (Allah) , do not
rebuke /threat them ( Do not drive them away).
*MURID (Follower):* Those
who remember Allah for satisfying Allah on him and thereby to get Allah (become
woliallah) , they are the real Iradatkari Murid ( Follower free from evil
activity). This kind of people must have the following qualities (sifat). a. They will be always devoted / inclined to
Allah and praying to Allah.
b. They will follow the orders of Allah and instructions
of Rasul (sm).
c.
They will see everything in light of the real noor provided by Allah and follow
the instructions of Allah in
everything and every work of the world.
d.
They will not be happy and will hate to accept / agree to anything except
Allah. e. They will become like
blind & dump in any other affairs and talk except Allah.
*MAHABBATE ELAHI : * It is such a bereaved desire and expectation
that, by the influence of which all the sorrow and pain of his heart become
lighter and easier. Quality of this class of people is as under:
a.
They don’t go to sleep unless their eyes become closed due sleep.
b.
Eat and drink when they feel uneasy being hungry/thirsty.
c.
They talk only when they become undone to avoid talking.
d.
Always remain busy to rebuke and admonish the Nafs (evil propensity).
e. Always try to guide the Nafs towards Allah
( Try to strengthen Nafs -e- Ammara)
f.
Always remain busy to invite people toward the way of Allah.
g.
Always try to do welfare and emancipation for the people.
h.
Remaining aloof they enjoy the delight of love of Almighty Allah.
i.
They keep them away from Sins and misdeeds.
j. Always remain engaged in devotion and
Ibadat (prayer) to Allah.
k.
Feel ashamed of the sight of Allah in attempting to do any unlawful work.
l.
All their labor and arduous endeavor is done for the love (mohabbat) of Allah, as such they can reach the closeness
of Allah.
m.
They remain busy in performing Nafal Ibadat (Additional prayer out of Farj) so that those become a media to get closer
to Allah. Peoples having those qualities become
lucky to become in closeness to Allah and they are accepted as Real Saalekin (The man who is perfectly on the
right track as directed by Allah). This is
the target of all the Murids and is named as Murad. At this stage all the obstruction / hindrance towards the
way of Allah is removed. Allah wash them with
the rain of Rahmat & Favor and make them holy / sinless and dignified/graceful. At this time they
become neighbor of Allah and they are honored
through different types of gift/ presentation. This is the Maarifat of Allah.
In Hadis-e-Kudsi it is stated
that, Allah says, My Mumin Banda ( True Believers) get closer to me through
their Nafal Ibadat and I honored them with my friendship. When I treat someone
as my friend ,I grant him my Noor on all parts of his body . So his all
activities is actually guided by me. So knowledge of such man become
great/noble knowledge. Because who is nourished and brought up under the guidance
of Allah, his heart becomes store house of mystery of Allah. Hallo my Banda
(Man)! If you want to know that then you follow the quoted affairs.
*MUTASAOEF:* A man who tries and devote to
become Sufi is called Mutasaoef. Coming to this path, who work
hard and accept the procedures and activities of the followers of this path as
his basis ( To get Allah) and lead life according to them, they are called real
Mutasaoef. Those who has achieved the cleanliness of their heart ( Kalb) ,i.e
those who have become free from the hypocrisy and deception of Nafs, who has
accepted the right path as directed by Allah, who has gained Hakikat, and whose
heart is silent on earthy affairs, he is real SUFI .
Establishing true and firm relation with Allah and show good conduct with /
behave with his servant (man) is the sign of Tasaouf. Motasaoef is the beginner
,and Sufi is the last stage. When a man becomes steady on the path of Allah and
remain engaged on true and perfect job, remaining in the situation of
separation and different troubles with own relations keep patience and follow
the regulations (of Islam) perfectly, maintain the rules -regulation of shariat
and directives of Allah and remain steady on the position of his achievement,
make the heart fully perfect and free (from false) and broad and achieve
fulfillment in all respect., then he is given the last presentation / gift and
invaluable favors/blessings ˜BELAYET.
*MUJAHIDA:* It is stated in
Quran , Wallajina Jahadu Fina Lanahadiyannahum subulana.- Those who try with
care on my (Allah) way, I (Allah) show the path of getting closer to me. Main
things of Mujahida is to leave the greediness and pray to Allah wholeheartedly
only for making Almighty Allah happy. In all respect oppose the Nafs (
Nafs-e-Ammara) suppress it. Do the work opposite to that, what Nafs (Ammara)
try to influence for doing .
*MURAKABA:* It is the habit
of keeping the heart conscious about the fact that , “Almighty Allah sees and
knows everything. In other words, it is a system of thinking deeply about own
misdeeds and be ashamed of that, about the greatness of Allah, about the
creature of Allah and surrender own self to Allah (while thinking). Murakaba is
the main basis of the devotee followers of Sufism to reach the destination.
*SUPPORTING ELEMENTS OF MURAKABA * *
The Murakaba attains the
fulfillment with the following knowledge:
a.
To gain knowledge about identity of Allah. ( i.e. Allah is one and only, He has
no partner, He is the creator
& protector of the universe, Everything is happening on His will, He knows everything, He
sees everything, None can fulfill any expectation
except Allah, He is the owner of the day of Judgment, He will excuse anyone as He likes and punish someone
as He likes).
b.
To have knowledge about the enemy Iblish.
c.
Always keep it in mind that my Nafs (Nafs-e-Ammara) will always
provocate me to do wrong.
d. To do the prayer only for Allah ( For
the satisfaction of Allah.).
*ABOUT SHAITAN (EVIL / IBLISH)*
1.
Ya Bani Adama , La Yatinannakumush Shaitana Kama Akhraja Abawaikum Minal
Jannati- Hello successors of Adam ! (Remember) So that Shaitan ( Iblish) cannot
engage you in mischief , as he brought out your first parents (Adam-Haoa) from
the heaven. ( Al Quran)
2. Innaka Shaitana Lakum Adubbum
Fattakhijhu Aduwan, Innama Yadwu Hijbuhu Liakunu Min Ashabissayir.- Undoubtedly
Shaitan is your great enemy. So you know him as your enemy. Definitely Shaitan
and his group is calling you to that direction so that you are included as
hellish. (Al Quran)
3. Fala Ya Gurunnakum Billahi
Gurur- So that the misgiver Shaitan can not create suspicion to you about
Allah. (Al Quran)
4. Allah Rabbul Alamin
declares, Kalema Tawheed is my Fort. He
who will utter this Kalema he enters my Fort and there is no fear for him about
punishment. The man who utter the Kalema Tawheed with devotion and follow my
orders, the sinner Shaitan ran away when comes in front of him. He is saved
from the sinful act of Shaitan in such a way , as a man saves himself from the hit
of the arms of enemy in war field.- (Hadis-e-Qudsi)
5. Shaitan is afraid of the words
, Auju Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajim and the burning flame of Noor , in the
heart of the devotee.
*NAFS -E- AMMARA *Nafs- e
-Ammara is more dangerous than Iblish and it is the main enemy of men. The
habit of Nafs-e-Ammara is to work as per directives of Shaitan and try to guide
the men towards the destruction. The greediness of Nafs is very strong. So it
is very necessary to oppose Nafs-e-Ammara and work against it demand. Due to
the influence of Shaitan and Nafs-e-Ammara , in general men face problem in
doing honest work, leaving the restricted works and sinful act as per rules regulation
of Shariat. As such it is not possible for everybody to achieve ˜Spiritual Character”,
even the learned man knowledgeable in religious knowledge sometimes becomes
derailed. It is not possible to get Allah with only Elme Jaher (External
knowledge). Those who are knowledgeable in both Elme Jaher and Elme Baten
(Hidden knowledge) and practice accordingly , only they can expect the meeting
(Blessings) of Allah. Oh Almighty Allah please save us from the bluff /
trickery of our main enemy Iblish and Nafs-e-Ammara.
*SPIRITUAL
KNOWLEDGE *
*ELME TARIKAT* It is such a
knowledge/Philosophy without which it is impossible to lead life as per Shariat
(Rules of Islam). The knowledge required to lead the life as per Shariat and to
get closer to Allah and to achieve the love of Allah, overcoming all the
hindrances and adversity those appears in following the rules -regulation of
Shariat, is known as Elme Tarikat.
2. In all four stages of knowledge
bad influences of Nafs is there.
In the
stage of Shariat :- Nafs influences to work against Shariat.
In the stage of Tarikat :- Nafs influences to claim for Nabuwat /
Belayet.
In the stage of Marifat :- Nafs influences to claim partnership and
claim ownself as God being enlighten by the noor(light) of Allah.
In the stage of Hakikat:- There is no entry of Iblish Shaitan, Nafs
and Feresta (Angels).
As such, at this stage (Hakikat) a
man become perfect man becoming saved from the influences of all enemy. As such
in all stages we have to struggle against the Iblish and Nafs to become perfect
man and reach the stage of Hakikat and finally to reach the final destination
the Didar-e-Elahi ( Meeting Allah).
3. Human bad habits like Sex, Anger, Greed
etc. can not be destroyed without the lustre (noor) of Allah. Similarly
stupidity and foolishness is not removed without the Marifat ( Hidden
Knowledge) of Allah . Allah teaches without any media through his Elme Ladunni
(Hidden /Invisible Knowledge) and by dint of that knowledge men can earn
knowledge about Allah , offer prayer, can see the pious Ruhus and know prophet
Mohammad (sm). He can discuss with the Ferestas, Poigambar (Prophet), and
Hazrat Mohammad (sm). As a result they give the good news of the ˜Bisale Abdi (
Ever Lasting Meeting).
4. If an Alem (learned man) read
thousands of books but cannot acquire knowledge of ˜Hidden Elm, he will not be
known as Alem. Man cannot acquire the Spiritual Power / Ruhaniat by Jaheri Elm
(ExternalKnowledge). This category of Alem (Alem without Spiritual knowledge)
will only gain Heaven. Jaheri Elm will not reach the Holy Herem Sharif ( Place
of getting closer to Allah). So they will be deprived from getting
proximity/closeness of Allah. As a bird cannot fly without two wings, similarly
the Alem (learned man) who will not be in possession of both Jaheri (External)
and Bateni (Hidden ) knowledge , he will not be able to reach the Monjile
Maaksud ( Closeness to
Allah)/will not be able to get closer to Allah.
5. He who will acquire the Jaheri
& Batini Elm and in line with those he will offer prayer to Allah with
devotion , he will get place in the stage of closeness with Allah . Allah has
mentioned, Halo my men! If you desire to
enter my Herem , then do not look to any of the Mulk (Earthy Life), Malakut and
Jabarut. The reason for that is : Mulk (Earthy) is the enemy of Alem (Learned),
Malakut (Life after death) is the enemy of Aref ( Spiritualist) and Jabarut is
enemy of the Islamic Theologist (Woli
Allah). Those who will be attracted to these three world they will be deprived
from getting in closeness to Allah. However , they will not be deprived from
getting status /rank. Those who are really for getting closeness of Allah ,
Almighty Allah the greatest has kept such gift in return which have not been
seen, heard, felt by anybody. In the Herem of Allah there is no blessing of
Hoor (Beautiful Lady), Gelmon (Beautiful young boys), and other favors of
heaven. There is only ever wanted thing Didar-e-Elahi- Meeting of Mawla Allah
Subhanahu Taala.
*HOW
TO ACQUIRE THIS ELME BATIN *
Elme Batin can only be achieved
through taking lesson from those people (Woli Allah / Murshed) who are
knowledgeable about Elme Jaher, Elme Batin and about the mystery of Alam -e-
Malakut and who are farsighted. The stages of this system are:
a.
Bring faith accordingly as mentioned by Allah Rabbul Alamin in the holy Quran.
b.
Perform the Ibadat (prayer) as per rules & regulations of Shariat
(Islam).
c.
Repent whole heartedly for the sinful acts done earlier and take Bayat (promise
to follow Islam properly &
refrain from sinful act in future) from a Holy man (Woli Allah) and continue to try to rectify own fault for self
purification take lesson for that.
d.
Earn knowledge about Elme Jaher / Shariat and perform prayer in combination with Elme Shariat and Elme Batin as
taught by Morshed (Spiritual teacher).
e.
Always remain happy to the wish / decision ( every happening ) of Allah and lead life and devote to the Ibadat (prayers of
All types) of Allah with the hope of getting
blessings of Allah and subsequently Didar-e-Elahi (Meeting Allah).
*WHAT IS ELME TARIKAT AND WHAT IS ITS
NECESSITY *
It has already been discussed .
Here we will try to clarify again. There are some impediments / hindrances
(viz. Sex-passion, anger, greed, infatuation, vanity and envy, expectation,
etc.) in following the rules and regulations of Shariat.
The special means which is
followed for leading life fully as per Shariat, overcoming those impediments /
hindrances is known as TARIKAT.
Tarikat is an arduous practice and
life long struggle. Struggle in remaining away from the influences of the enemies
Nafs-e Ammara ( as mentioned above) , Iblish, Jinn and bad man ; as mentioned
in Sura Ekhlas. Those enemies give harmful advice to the heart of the man and
try to push them towards the wrong and evil path. Hard struggle is required to
remain safe from those evil counseling ,otherwise it becomes difficult to keep
Iman (faith /belief) and Amal (practice) properly. The way of this struggle as
set by those who are closer & friendly to Allah is known as Tarikat. About
this struggle Prophet Mohammad (sm) has said,
We have returned to comparatively strong Jihad (Struggle against Nafs-e-
Ammara) from the comparatively weaker Jihad (A holy war). - (Al Hadis ) Huzur
(sm) has said, Amongst your enemies
great enemy is your Nafs/Ripu (six inherent /cardinal passions of man) and that
is situated on the middle of your both ribs. ( Al Hadis ). NAFS There are three
types of Nafs. Nafs -e- Ammara, Nafs -e- Lawama , and Nafs-e-Mutmayenna.
Nafs-e-Ammara: It is very dirty, worst, and sinful. As such always try to
provocate for doing sinful work. It does not repent after doing sin. It is
uncultured, shameless and immodest. Nafs-e-Lawama: It is a bit modest and
pious. As such it can identify good and bad. If it does any wrong , then &
then it repent for that and self reproach is created. Nafs-e-Mutmayenna: This
is educated and perfectly pious. It never does any wrong and sin. It becomes
visible due to enlightening by luster of Allah.
Until and unless the internal enemy (six inherent passions of man) is
controlled, a man cannot become pious and achieve the Mohabbat
(Love/Friendship) of Allah. It is not possible to become favorite to Allah
unless a man make his Nafs(Desires) free from bad habits including Excess
drinking & Eating, Excess talking, Excess sleeping, Anger, Hot temper,
Calling names and fighting/ animal behavior, Speaking ill of others( Gibat),
Illegal sexual desire, Greed, Misery, Telling lie, Enmity, Envy, Proud ness,
Hate etc. These are the companions of Nafs -e- Ammara. Following any˜Tarikat is
essential for controlling these bad practices/ habits. Prophet Hazrat Mohammad
(sm ) has said, Shariat is my Kawol
(Basis), Tarikat is my Aamal (Practice) and Hakikat is my Haal. (Situation ). (
Al Hadis). NB: From this Hadis it is easily understood that practicing &
following the rules-regulation of Shariat properly is called Tarikat. If we go
into depth, we see that in Hadis-e-Kudsi Allah says: Al Insanu Sirri Wa Ana Sirrahu.- Mankind is
my mystery and I am mysterious to mankind. Allah Rabbul Alamin also mentioned,
“ Hidden knowledge is one of my mystery ,which I have bestowed in the Kalb of
my obedient followers and nobody except aware about that mystery. So Tarikat is
the process of establishing the relation between Almighty Allah Subhanahu Taala
by discovering the mystery between Allah and his mankind. Huzur (sm) has said,
“ Maan Arafa Nafsahu Fakad Arafa Rabbahu. To know the identity of Allah
Rabbul Alamin , get the identity of yourself. Allah has said, Mankind is my
mystery. So it is not easy to understand this mystery. Oh my Lord Allah! Please
show me the truth correctly and give me capability to find out that. Which is
not truth, please also show that and give me the strength to refrain from that.
